Hello everyone, and welcome to my about page, where you can learn more about myself, Elizabeth, the author of this blog!

I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, in the United States. I come from a family of four, consisting of my Dad Matt, Mom Sherry, and my brother Philip. I spent many of my early years going on road trips and camping with my family. My parents purchased a motorhome, and we would spend much of the summer and fall weekends going to different national parks and campgrounds around the northeastern side of the country.

From the time I was in middle school to the present, my family has always been annual season ticket holders to the Penn State football games. We would spend every home game weekend at State College, tailgating in our RV. Nothing could ever beat being in that beautiful valley, especially during the fall, with the smells of good food, great music, games, laughter, and cheers. Some of my favorite childhood memories are tailgating with my family and friends.

I am one of the few that actually looks back at my high school years and really loved and cherished that time. My schooling was unique in the sense that I did not go to your “traditional” school. I went to an all-girls school called Villa Maria Academy, and I absolutely loved it. I learned how to be a confident, kind, compassionate, and empowered woman. Never would I ever trade the experiences I gained from attending that school.

After high school, I studied at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. I started as a Human Biology major and then decided to switch over to Sociology-Criminology. In the middle of my sophomore year, I applied to participate in the Disney College Program, an internship that would take me down to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, for my sophomore spring semester.

In 2016 I headed down to participate in the Disney College Program. I worked at Disney’s Magic Kingdom at the Tomorrowland Speedway and Space Mountain. Little did I realize at the time how incredibly crucial this journey was for me. The program introduced me to some of my best friends, I fell in love with Florida and decided to move down to the sunshine state after my program, and most importantly, I met my incredible and loving fiancé.

I decided to transfer to the University of Central Florida as a Criminal Justice major to continue to live my life in Orlando. After my internship with Disney, I went to work for Universal Studios for a year as an attraction attendant at Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts inside of Universal’s The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Diagon Alley.

In June of 2018, I applied for a second College Program with the Walt Disney Company. This time I was accepted and placed at Toy Story Mania at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This was such an incredible time to be working at Hollywood Studios because I was there to open their brand new land, Toy Story Land. I have worked with the company ever since. Currently, I am working as a part-time attraction attendant at Disney's Animal Kingdom at Avatar Flight of Passage.

In August of 2019, my boyfriend of four years asked me if I would marry him, and I, of course, said yes! We are currently enjoying our engagement as much as possible as we continue to explore our careers and dream goals. We have a date set for our wedding in November of 2021!
